If you want tell me about other piercing experiences you'd had...becides the ear.

Well I am not a professional, but I went to one and asked to buy the needle and studs, and I pierced my own labret three times. One was an accident it went crooked. So i had two of them and I liked them, it didnt hurt for me to do them myself. For myself I find if I pierce myself they dont get infected as when a professional does it they 99.9% end up infected.
I do not have them anymore, just the scars which look funny cause you can see the holes. I wanted to get my tongue done but I was a little too freaked out by that. I like piercings but not the freaky deaky ones.

I got both of mine done horizontally at 12 ga with stainless steel barbells. After the piercer got everything set up, she had me take off my shirt & bra so she could mark them, and we spent about 15 minutes trying to see if they were straight and in the best position. When we finally were ready, I layed down on the cushioned table/bench thingy, and she clamped one, had me breathe in a few times, and then pierced it on an exhale. Then she followed the jewelry through and screwed the ball onto the jewelry, then did the exact same thing with the other nipple. After they were both pierced and had the jewelry in, she cleaned them up a little bit and said I could lay down until I felt okay to get up. When I finally did she gave me an apple juice :) lol. About the pain itself, it did hurt, quite a bit. I still think, though, that my septum piercing hurt more! The pain went away quickly after the needle was through. Of course then after a while they will start throbbing again but that is normal and can be expected with any piercing. It took I'd say about 2 - 3 seconds to get the needle all the way through (it's kind of a tough part of the body to pierce through). They pierce it at the 'base' of the nipple, right where it meets the areola, if that makes sense. Also, it doesn't "stay hard" all the time as some people say it will. When it's not hard it just stays soft again, and you really can't see it through your clothes or anything unless you're not wearing a bra and the shirt is tight enough to see your boobs. The healing will be different for everyone, I got mine pierced September 2008 and they're still getting some of that "crusty" stuff but they don't hurt (except if you're rough with them). The healing is easy, it's the basic stuff: don't touch with dirty hands, don't move it around more than is necessary (just for cleaning), some people use sea salt soaks, I did it a couple times a week for the first few weeks I had it pierced, but after the first month or two I just started cleaning it with q-tips and warm water, though if they ever get irritated I give them a sea salt soak.

Well, I have 39 piercings in total. Including my lip and tongue. I love them all. My lip didn't hurt at all, and my tongue hurt a little. If you want to look at my profile, you'll see a list of the piercings that I have. It isn't updated right now, but I'll go fix it as soon as I post this. Go for it. They are great. Well, I have a 24 total corset piercing going down my back, my nipples, clit, belly button, 4 in each ear, lip, tongue, eyebrow. I still want more too! They are so addicting!!

Other than my upper ear (don't know the technical name of that) I have my left nostril done. It hurt like mad. I didn't know it would actually make me light headed for a while. I've been told that with the nose, you should always have a professional do it (I did) cause there are nerves in your nose that go straight to your brain and if you do it in the wrong place you could hit one and have a stroke or an infection go into your brain. Don't know if that's true or not, but...

I do really like it now. I didn't really have any problems with it after it healed. I think it got a but infected for a day or so (a little puss stuff coming out) but after about 2 months it was totally fine and I forget I even have it now. I love it though!

And no, when you blow your nose, snot does NOT come out of the whole. :)

I have 2 piercing- belly button and tongue. The belly button piercing was quick and with little pain. I just felt alot of pressure and the needle quickly being pulled through. I had to wash it everyday with anti bacterial soap. If you get the belly button pierced, I suggest getthing the barbell. For my tongue it was quick and it hurt for a second. Some piercers go from bottom up, but mine went from top to bottom. Before getting pierced, I went to get ice and took a ibeprofen before. After getting it pierced I sucked on the ice for a while and that helped with the pain. For a few days I could eat- but very slowly. I ate mainly ice cream and potatoes. I was like that for about a week.

I had my tongue pierced twice and enjoyed it both times.

I think lip piercings look cool but you'll want to be careful because it could affect who hires you in the future....also if it ends up leaving some sort of scar, you'll have it forever and it'll be a lot more obvious.

I have 11 piercings, and i'll tell you that the last one (clitoral hood) was the easiest, quickest to heal, no infection. One milisecond of pain for a lifetime of pleasure...........................mmmmmmmmmm!
