for anyone who has dyed their hair different colors... which did u prefer blonde or brown???

I used to dye mine a lot. I had natural light brown hair; went blonde..hated it only because of the upkeep to keep it light when roots started growing out. That looked awful. Then I dyed it dark brown which looks so much better. It all depends on your completion, eye color, eyebrow color etc..

I liked the blonde and brunette,but the brunette is easier since my hair is already a brunette shade.With the blonde it seemed like I was always coloring my horrible dark roots. I've been red also,the roots were still an issue,just not as bad as when it was blonde. I think I'm sticking to be brunette.

I've dyed my hair both blonde and brown, and to tell you the truth, I like being a blonde better, more power behind it and love the attention I get from it, everyone notices it, just be sure to condition it every time you wash, because it look terrible when it dryes out!

blonde is high maintance. Esp always touching up those roots as your hair grows so much. and then it dont look right if your way to pale looking. i think blonde only looks good if you can go tanning alot. Then I dont like brown either....If you go for brown I would go for the lightest brown cuz that goes with every skin tone and its not high maintance and not expansive to maintain the color. You also gotta consider your hair color and skin tones....

I prefer the browns. They come out richer looking. The hair looks shiny and healthy.

Blonde often looks dry and brittle and can get a greenish tinge.

Also, blonde dye can result in a really unnatural color. It's hard to use a brown dye and get an unnatural result.

I love darker hair. I've had blonde, dark blonde, light brown, dark brown, brown-red, black and even pink highlights before and my favorite has been the brown-red and dark brown.

i am a natural blonde but i go back and forth. right now i am a blonde again but i think in about a week or so im going to go to a medium brown. much less upkeep and doesnt do as much damage on your hair.

oh goodness, i have done blonde, brown, red, highlights....u name it except for black. I like brown b/c it is my natural color, i just choose richer browns than my natural color. Different coolrs look better on different skin tones. Blonde looks better for paler skin tones. Brunnette is nice on darker skin tones. Although dark skin tones can go both ways. Brown hair on pale skin can make you look washed out.

I prefer brown because you don't really notice roots faster than you would with blonde. Because blonde is lighter and you'll notice quicker.

well i'm naturally blonde so i go blonde in the spring and summer and then i go darker for the fall and winter and usually go to a med. to dark brown.
