Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
This is a Splenda recipe and one of my favorite low-calorie cookies. They are very tasty.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter, creamy
1/2 cup Splenda Sugar Blend for Baking
1/2 cup packed Splenda brown sugar blend
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 1/3 cups nestle toll house peanut butter and milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
DIRECTIONS
PREHEAT oven to 375°F.
COMBINE flour and baking soda in small bowl. Set aside.
BEAT butter, peanut butter, SPLENDA Sugar Blend for Baking, SPLENDA Brown Sugar Blend and vanilla extract in large bowl until creamy.
Beat in egg. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and walnuts.
DROP dough by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Press down slightly with bottom of glass dipped in SPLENDA Sugar Blend for Baking.
BAKE for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are set but centers are still soft. Cool on baking sheets for 4 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely

Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies
INGREDIENTS
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Pour the cake mix into a large bowl. Stir in the butter, eggs and vanilla with an electric mixer until well blended. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
Bake for 11 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until the edges are golden. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.

The best chocolate chip cookie recipe I have used is the one you find in the Crisco butter flavored shortening sticks but you really need to use the dark chocolate chips.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 375° F.
COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
PAN COOKIE VARIATION: Grease 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan. Prepare dough as above. Spread into prepared pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack. Makes 4 dozen bars.
