so there is this guy that i started to like after h.c. (which was in october) but the problem is that i don't know THAT much about him. we have 2 classes together but everytime that i want to talk to him he's always around his friends. we both have myspaces and i leave him comments (not one EVERYSiNGLE DAY one like everyother week or somethin) but he doesn't reply back. and im really REALLY shy around guys (like you don't even know).. so want im asking is should i go for this guy or should i go for someone that i know better? and if you do think i should go for him wat is your advice for me so i can get his attention??
AND we are on winter break right now so i can't really talk to him at school. (we dont go back until jan 8th)
ps. is there a difference between liking someone and being interested in someone?? cause i don't know if there is and wat it is.

I'd say go after the guy that you have feelings for. Going for somebody you know better is only going to leave regrets because of that "what if..." question. What if that guy likes you back but is shy so he surrounds himself with his friends? I'm not the outgoing type, either, so I kinda know what you mean. If he doesn't reply to your myspace, then I'm guessing he doesn't know you too well? Why don't you get to know him a little better and see if you still like him. Become friends with him first, and that'll give you an idea what to do. Shyness is hard to overcome, but you can do this.

Well ok lets see...HC yes ok christmas break now...ok ok i got it now if he is with his friends dont worry about it ...if he see that you can be calm and nice around his friends he will do the same towards your friends...IF HE IS A GENTLEMEN!!!...talk to him during passing period (you are in HS right) ok passing periods just stop by his locker and talk to him and get to know him better...ask him on a date not an actuall date date like gf and bf but just like a get together with friend but show him that you want to be with him more then your friend and hopefully he will get the picture...oh dont be shy guys are shy around the girls they like too just do think aobut him when u go up to him to talk

first of all, Im confused if you're a girl or a boy...second, if you like a person then of course you will be interested, but not vice versa... then if you've been dropping hints that you want to get to know him more and he's not responding, perhaps he's not interested? go for someone whom you share an equal interest, much less complicated and easier to handle...

Being interested is the stage before liking someone.
If he doesn't reply...chances are he doesn't know you well enough or he doesn't like you. You should probably start talking to him in person when you get the chance to.

i like this girl in my class and i am shy around her if you like him that much then go for it!
