No, not as a garuntee... its a saying big paws big dog, but not always true.
Daschunds have pretty large paws as a pup and look at them!! Only way to havea good idea is to know the size and height of the ancestory of the dog. Sorry!

Is he full german shepard.If he is he will not be a small dog.

no he will grow out of it, it is just a part of life where 1 thing grows faster than another i personaly think that he will just be fine, i mean people w/ small lips usually grow out of them and get bigger and peeps w/ large lips at a small age will not have their lips grow any bigger, u see what i mean, it is just a stage

He might be a small shepard, or it's a genetic thing. I wouldn't be to worried. If you are, you should research what he has. Hope that helps!!! :-)

Feed him properly and it will grow into a big dog.
