well seee. if she kenw you liekd them, she's the backstabbing *****.
and if she doesnt, then eh. i say go with him. be the girl that finaly gets the guy she wants. and if she gets pissed at you, reminds her of all the guys she dated that you liked. that'd get her on a guilt trip and get her of ur bck, and she'd soon have to accept u being bf';s with her ex, thats if..she's a good friend.

Yes, it is a known unspoken rule among women. Never go after your friends guy or even ex. Hello, there was a reason why they didn't work out. The real question is who's friendship do you care about more, the guys or your best friends? If you choose the guy, can you really say you were ever best friends?

No they are broken up. It would be a whole different story if they were still dating but they are not. She has to move on so unless she is still super depressed about the break-up, then he is all yours. But if you still don't feel comforable, just ask your friend if she is okay with that. Plus, there must be a reason they broke up because she was most likely over him. She is not in charge of you and if she wants to be, she is not a "friend" like you said.

When you are young...guys are like busses, they come and they go...but your friend should always be there. If you are so close to her, then ask her how she would feel. Also, I think it all depends on if they were actually having sex. Who wants their friends left overs? If they never did, then it's like being friends anyways. But I really think the best answer is to talk with her about it. What if you date him shortly, if it doesn't work, you will be missing a friend.

You HAVE to talk to your friend about it. If you don't establish boundaries, you could be considered a back stabber and you don't want that.

yes if you like her man she will think you are a back stabber but you can go to her and ask her is it OK for you to like her ex. but she could say yes it's OK but deep down inside she will hate you.for going with her ex. this is what you need to think is he worth breaking up your friendship.

first of all if they were together for a long time, then don't do it!! if she had feelings for him then don't do it, its probaly best if you ask her first, and is she says she would be pissed then don't do it, but if u feel that this guy might be the one for you then i would say go for it, cause when u r older the one that is truly going to be there for u will be your husband good luck with your situation, and merry x-mas, and a happy new year

Maybe you should have a talk with your best friend first. Make sure that he don't come between you and her. Best of luck to you.
