Ok, I work at animal control. Oftentimes we get in so many animals that all we can do is put them to sleep. We follow code, all euth's are done painlessly, but a friend and I would like to make better us of the resources we are left with after performing the euth. We are thinking of using some of the fatter cats for meat, maybe some sausage. We are partly vietnamese so as weird as this sounds to you, it is not to us. What are some good ways to cook up cat meat? I know some recipes from my gradmother but I'm thinking of something more American, like sausage or hamburger meat. What do you think?

I'm not sure what the health rules are on this, but I think that you will find it almost impossible to sell cat meat to people who normally treat cats as pets.

I have cats as pets, but I am not of your culture. I had some vietnamese friends some yrs. ago. I tasted some of their culture and they ours. Although I never ate cat, I do know of some Asian people who prepare it just like chicken. They use it in place of chicken in almost any of their receipes.

I think if your job found out you were stealing dead cat bodies for food, you could get fired!
