Because every time they see one of these discussions, someone just has to post a bunch of biblical quotes.

Really. I don't appreciate it because A) I don't believe it happened and B)I don't follow organised religion. Anything written or recorded by humans can be manipulated by them. Imagine the telephone game, where the message gets warped. Multiply that over a few centuries. Not to mention all of the translations between english, hebrew and other languages. It's bound to have a few mistakes along the way.

I'd rather your Christ didn't carry my 'sins', thank you very much. I'll take responsibility for my own mistakes.

Jesus is the ramson sacrifice and the verse no longer Trinity! The introduction (''REV1:a million-3) identifies God because of the fact the source of and Jesus because of the fact the channel for the Revelation. the hollow financial ruin of the e book of Revelation provides Jehovah as “the Alpha and the Omega, . . . the only that is and who became and who's coming, the Almighty.” And it provides his Son, Jesus Christ, as “the truthful Witness,” “the firstborn from the lifeless,” and “the Ruler of the kings of the earth.” It additionally speaks of Jesus as “him that loves us and that loosed us from our sins via potential of his own blood.” to no longer confuse the reader, Revelation a million:a million-5 could be study no longer basically a million:4-5 to understand completely.

Well, the main reason is that there is no such thing as "sin". And there is not such thing as a soul. And you are not going to heaven or hell when you die. Anyway Christ never wrote anything down, everything in the Bible was written about 30 or more years after Jesus died. A lot of misunderstanding was created by St. Paul, who turned Jesus into a God to satisfy his own fears about death. St. Paul never met Jesus and completely misunderstood what Jesus was saying.

Because the Holy Spirit of God has not yet moved in their hearts convicting them of their sins and so they don't realize what Jesus did for them. It's like if I showed up at your house and told you that you didn't have to go to jail. You wouldn't be grateful, you would think that I had a screw loose or something. But if I told you that the police had a video of you driving at a high speed through a school zone and that the law said that anyone who went more than 10 miles over the speed limit was commiting a crime requiring a jail sentence and then I told you that someone had come along and "fixed the ticket" for you, then you would see it as good news.

People who don't believe that they will have to stand before the Creator of this universe on judgment day are not going to be grateful if you tell them that someone has made a way for them not to be condemned.

"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
(2 Corinthians 4:3-4)

He died and appeased the Gods. That took great courage, and perhaps it took great delusion.
All through Pagan history the Gods have required the slaughter and burning of animals on the alter.
Later the Hebrews changed Gods plural to God singular, but kept the rituals of animal sacrifice.
Jesus decided the time for animal sacrifice was over, and he would be the human sacrifice, and appease God once and for all.

It was a grand vision. But it was just a continuation of a basically Pagan culture, and was unnecessary. Our sins don't need to be carried to the cross; we need to learn the concept of personal responsibility.
There was one great consequence: Jesus himself became a legend, the greatest figure in human folklore.
It's all academically interesting.

maybe they've never experienced a deep love or been taught how to love. I believe that anyone who has truly loved or been loved(I mean loving someone more than yourself) would have a greater chance of receiving God's love. some people are just full of bitterness, unforgiveness, and selfishness, that the love of God is too unreal to them! (but who are we to judge) It's really sad that they haven't heard some testimonies of things the Lord has done or is doing in peoples lives right now! Maybe there's a place on here somewhere that people can read other peoples experiences with the Lord!

You have got to be kidding.
This ridiculous postulate was one of the factors that drove me from the Catholic church.
I cannot fathom that God, IF HE exists, would be so dependent upon human devotion that HE would stack the cards in such a way that we would be indebted to HIM b-e-f-o-r-e we were even born. Utterly ludicrous. I know a lot of people buy into this but God didn't do anything for me that he didn't also want something from me.
I am appalled that people still expect others to appreciate the bogus sacrifice of their God. Silly.

I feel bad about the way he died, just as I feel bad about the way thousands of people were executed, back then. It's another awful example of mans' inhuminanity towards his fellow man. I hate every kind of torture. But I don't believe his dying on the cross had anything to do with my sins.

No such thing as sin. No such person as Jesus Christ. No sacrifice on cross. Nothing to appreciate.

scholars are challenging the fact that he had switched the real person (him) with the guy who helped him carry it.
Its been written in books, that werent chosen to be in the bible...
i beleive it was written by one of his apostles...
I think christians need to research more than whats just in the bible. Theres more truth, and alot of things have been covered up than were intended, cuz some priests ideas of christianity were different than what actually happend, so they changed some things up...
