It could be the sleep Paralysis thing. or it could be a demon, both are possibilities.
let us assume the worst case.
Demon.
to stop it, first burn some white sage in your room, and be sure to fan it into the closet and into the corners and under the bed. this will clean out any pools of negative energy.
then get some hamatite (an inexpensive stone) and place one piece at each corner of your bed. if you have bedpoasts. put them into a small pouch and hang them from the post.
this will help to reflect any negative energy that comes at you at night.
then place some small pieces of garnet or opal, (inexpensive unless they are gem cut,,they just need to be small chips and you can get them at any new age storn for a few dollars)
in the room where sunlight will reflect in them. this will create a positive charge in your room and make it hard for demons and evil spirits to enter.
if you still have the problem after this, then you may need some medical help, and do not be afraid to seek it.

I used to get sleep paralysis when I was younger. Usually I would dream there was somebody standing in the doorway and I was terrified but couldn’t move.
This was something I grew out of after a while so you may as well. Realize that it is only a dream and train yourself to move to wake up. I got really good at that after a while.
Perhaps you should see a doctor if the sore spots always seem to be in the same place. It could be your body’s way of warning you of some physical problem.

It's called sleep paralysis or "Hag Phenomenon", and it's no fun.
Along with Red Queen's suggestion, I'd recommend setting up a consistent sleep schedule. Sleep paralysis occurs most often in people with disturbed circadian rhythms (sleep cycles).
Good luck.

Sounds like sleep paralysis, or at least something like it. If this happens often you should probably tell a psychiatrist and see if they can help you.

Take Jesus in the dream with you. Pray, God will give you strength, if you believe in him. Satan and his Minions, possibly witch craft, does'nt matter its demonically inspired. My attacks became so bad at night a had Holy angels that interviened in my presence . Jesus Christ is God Almighty

Sleep paralysis/hypnogogic hallucinations. Quite common, completely harmless. Try sleeping on your side, they'll go away. At least sleeping on my side stopped them for me.

To me it sounds like a poltergeist or other vengeful spirit. Try and talk to it, see why it is doing it to you. If that doesn't work try to expel it from the house.
