congradulations.. My boxer is due in february and I catch hell too. Some do have good points but anyways...when she goes into labor she will start panting heavily..make sure you offer her a lot of water and she doesn't break the sack when the puppies come out you will have to do it for her and let her chew off the cord..this is gross but she will also eat the afterbirth. You may already know all this. When notice her getting restless walking around a lot scratching at her bedding she may even pick up stuffed animals and take them to her bed then she'll start breathing heavy that's when it starts.

Hi your puppies shouldn't be far away. Once they get milk they are usually pretty close. If your dog starts breathing differently maybe even pacing a little or if they are really close to you they might just come to you for more comfort. I bred boxers for a while and sometimes it was hard to tell when the puppies were coming except for increased breathing and hiding in bed or comfy safe place. If you think your dog is in labour thus some blood and mucus, water has come out and their backside is swollen, ready make sure it is not too far between passing this and actually having the pups because sometimes the first pup can be too big and may need a little help from a vet. Good luck!

It could mean the puppies are coming soon. Watch the dog, if she starts getting restless and pushing around her bedding it could mean something. Watch if she shakes, watch for signs of contractions, and if she's panting she could be in labor.

what other people have told you is great, also panting and squatting like she has to go to the bathroom is a sign too that she is in active labor.
