start it off with a shocking statement about it. how teens are affected at early ages due to peer pressure. my sister's friend became anorexic at 13 and got help and was finally normal at 15. but its a shock that younger girls might get into it in the future. look at their role models... Lindsey lohan, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Hillary duff- all these girls lost so much weight when they got older... and its scary to think so many of the youth look up to them

Make it dramatic. Start with something like this as:
"I once knew a girl named ??? When I first met her she was young and healthy, the picture of life. Then something seemed to change, and despite everyone's efforts to help, last week I went to her funeral."

i use to give talks about bi-polar depression-- which i have. you could go over mental problems - start naming them and a brief description of each -- then lead into your topic and tell them this is what your speech presentation is about. betty boop
