Why are we only on an outer band of our own galaxy, never mind in that we are not even close to the 'center' of the universe....

There was a time when you would be executed for saying the earth was not the centre of the universe, or the world was not flat, strange how Christians can accept some science and not other!

I never considered that the universe should revolve around the earth. I just don't feel quite intelligent enough to make that call. I have pondered that the earth may be only a small drop in the rain forest of the universe and so it might have the position it should have. But who knows......?

definite guy is conceited in that many individuals have faith that guy is made in God's image. Even jesus appears like a guy. yet now all of us be attentive to Scientifically that there exists many Worlds and Universes and that the possibility that we are on my own is virtually 0. Our planet is biologigically wealthy and distinctive and why carry out a little individuals have faith it somewhat is not so for our Universe? Why because of the fact we are self- typical and we expect of we are grasp of no longer basically our international and our Universe additionally.it somewhat is the muse of our perception gadget,regardless of if we are Atheists.

Because we are only part of the universe, not the most important part. We are the ones in God's image, but we need humility. Looking out at the vastness of space should make us aware of our limitations.

People just hang onto ideas no matter how much they are proved wrong. You are a great example. We are here by random chance, so some speculate, and we most certainly are NOT the center of the universe.
