Praying in your thoughts is unscriptural. We were taught to do that in the denominational church, but they were largely ignorant. It is true that God knows your every thought, but He also kknows that the thoughts of men are vanity (Psalm 94:11). So take a deep breath, O.K., now let it out sloooowly. Good.
The Lord is more concerned with the things we say. For instance, making a vow. Jesus also said that "every idle word" would be judged. But even if you prayed out loud that you wanted to go to hell, I think He would probably let you take that one back. So relax. But yeah, be a little more careful what you wish for all the same.

Ok, I'm a Christian and i'll try to help.
If you are a christian you should understand that you are a 3 part being that is body, soul (mind/will/emotions) and Spirit. Your Spirit is the real you and it is the part of you that is eternal and will live forever with God. It is the part of you that has been born-again. Your body when you die, will go into the earth. Your body is not saved nor can it ever be saved. In heaven you will get a new body and that body will never be hungry or need to use the bathroom or get dirty and need baths like the body you have now. Your soul - which is your mind, your will, and your emotions is not saved either - but by learning the bible you can renew your mind.... So, God knows that your mind and emotions are not saved - and even though your soul will go to heaven with your spirit it will be completely renewed and you won't have any problems with it there. But while you are here on Earth - your soul will cause you problems from time to time - heck, most of the time... ANd God understands this because that is how he made us. So, if you have a wrong thought - GOd understands that that is your human nature - and he will not hold it against you as long as you believe in Jesus and are trusting Him for your salvation. Ok, So, don't worry about this.
God Bless.

Do you think God will send the faithful to Hell? Or perhaps your prayer was granted, when you realize how good Heaven is, you'll realize that the world's imperfection, is, in fact like Hell. This ambiguity, if nothing else, basically prevents what you have done from being sinful. BUT, it is sinful to despair in your sin, in fact, it is a sin against the Holy Spirit (which can be forgiven - the only one that can't is impenitence...).

The good Lord knows your heart and mind better than you do. Relax he isn't out to "Get" you. He knew you before you were born and loves you. Would your earthly father give you a snake when you asked for bread? How much more our father in heaven.

Don't worry, sometimes Satan slips you a mickey. The Lord loves His own and does not turn His back on them. Remember the verse in the Bible You receive not because you ask amiss, this is one of the times you asked amiss. God Bless and don't worry.

Your reaction was proving something to you, wasn't it?
I would think that a thought like that would be disturbing, like what someone might do before they reapplied themselves to the word of God.
I'm thinking that you are giving yourself too much of a break from your effort to know God better.
So reapply yourself, this won't be the only time either!
Know that your nature is to move away from God, and do things your own way. It happens to me, it happens to everyone.
So get up mister, and follow after Christ. Don't let the devil have the satisfaction of knowing that he got you down. Keep your eyes on Christ, the Author and Finisher of Faith!

Dear Daniel,
Everything is ok. If you have committed your life to Christ, you are saved.
You could apologize to God and say that you desire to go to heaven not hell. Our God is a forgiving and a loving God.
Grace and Peace to you in Christ,
Cordially,
John

God is not afraid of your questions or doubt. He knows your heart. If you feel you have done something wrong, just ask for forgiveness.
