Will this be against the airline regulations? And have you done this before without having any trouble? Please let me know, thanks!

yes, but pack it carefully; you may even want to ask them to include a 'fragile' sticker on it, just in case. i brought liquor back from a caribbean cruise (miami to socal) earlier this year and did that. no problems and nothing broke.

You can pack they liquor in your checked luggage - just not in your carry on luggage. I would suggest that you make sure the liquor is padded cute a bit though as your checked luggage gets tossed around quite a bit as well as when the load it in the aircraft there could be quite a few bags on top of yours. You wouldn't want to get to your destination with the bottles broken.

Hope this helps and have a great trip!

if you bought it on the city duty free... you can always pick it up at airport and they allow duty free liquor to be onboard.
if not, it is better to pack them in your suitcase and make sure you mark it fragile...
i have reservation of packing sparking/gassy liquid... like champagne, sparking wine, etc... esp if the bottle is opened, ie it is not new (sealed), for the reason of gas tend to escape out in thin air (in flight). the pressure inside bottle is much larger than outside and that may cause the gas to leak out.
airlines regulation probably didnt say about this but what they prohibit is any liquid in container larger than a few oz (some even banned it altoghether). so why dont you check out their policy on the web before travel.

Domestic or international flight? In case of international travel you have to check with the local customs and laws. Not all countries allow the import of alcohol.

you can check it but not carry it on. if you can try to pack separately in a box with styrofoam. most of our local shipping companies can do that. or you can pack it in your suitcase.

Sure you can do it if you are of age. Pack it well so it wont break the bottle.
