The best way to know if you have found your true love first is let love find you and you will know the rest after . Don't keep searching for love, it will come to you when the time comes.

I do not believe there is one true love because, for me, it implies seeking perfection in another person. Finding and receiving love is more amazing than finding "your true love". I believe that loving is a choice that we make - initially based on many romantic attributes that we find in another person ( sexual attraction, similar interests and values, enjoyment of time spent together and yearning to be in the other person's presence, etc) but we could find that with many people over the course of our lives. When I love I am choosing to forsake (to close the door) all other possible for that one person. That person becomes #1 in my life and I am choosing to allow that person to be a human being in the fullest sense, complete his own weaknesses and shortcomings. Likewise, by choosing to receive love I am allowing the other person to see the real me, with all my flaws and insecurities. I think that it is truly wonderful and rare when this happens between two people.

Sweetheart, you will know when you are no longer in that relationship. Besides the only true love I believe is that of your parents towards you. Love in a relationship only last till the guy loses his job or has not more money to spend and the woman get old and fat. Happy Holidays.

There's no specific "way" - you just know. I knew the second I met my (now deceased) husband that I would love him forever. But I don't think I knew it at that time - I just knew something was taking over me and I wanted it to. That's what FALLING in love is. No feeling in the world better! And none worse...

Try to have a nice evening with him, no sex, no kissing, just talk. If you get along with him after that, I'd say you have found "True Love".

To realize there is no such thing as a true love. Only respect and honesty, that turn into love that is true. Thus becoming true love.

I believe that when you are in love, you'll definately know. For instance, I've been going out with my boyfriend for around 2 years. And although I'm 18, I know I'm in love. I just have this knowledge of it and I stick by it. If you're in love, you'll know.

I knew I had met him when I realized there was absolutely nothing I would be doing differently if I were single.
We don't expect each other to be everything. I have friends for shopping, hobbies...he still has guys night out. He can still be him, I can still be me, and we still (after 14 years) like what we see.
We don't have to be together...we choose to be.
