Lotsa folks loook at the internet scene as an escape from reality that can't hurt or get hurt with. Relationships come and go easily on the net. To end things all you need do is shut the computer down and the headache is gone. Then on the other hand all you need do is go to a chat room to start another "affair".

I've never dated from online, but sometimes you can meet interesting people online, but NOT on dating sites.
If you have an interest like politics, go to political sites/blogs, and you can have great conversations with people who share the same interests as you.
That can lead to a friendship and so on.
I do love the people who come to YAHOO ANSWERS and diss online dating and internet relationships...lol

ur putting the hoss behind the cart. It's not the destination, but the journey. People feel safe and anonymous on the net. They are not exposing any of their shortcomings (many are just imagined do I have a zit?) So many phobias are laid to rest in the confines of these buzzing wires. You can be the giant of ur dreams, not the dwarf of ur fears.
