I think the Iraq people will get to the point of self reliance and we will be able to hand off the ball INSPITE of the crap the rest of the world is giving us.

I think it will be handled ok. Japan and Europe had the same strife for the same reasons. It usually takes 50 years to change a culture's beliefs. Look how long it took women to vote and the south to accept blacks after the Civil War.
