He asked a couple of my friends about me like for my email and they asked why he said "oh it's just for a friend"
He talks to everyone else but around me he chokes up or turns silent. Once we were sitting at an assembly together and it seemd like he wanted to talk to me because when ever i would look at him he would open his mouth like he was going to say something then change his mind.
He'll stare at me or give me a little smile but from up close it looks like he's trying not to look at me
He will be walking down the hall and while he's talking to one of his friends but instead of looking at them he's staring straight at me
does he like me?

Yes this guy really likes you. It sounds like he a very shy guy. Try talking to him outside of school. Find out where is likes to hang out and 'bump' into him. Or the direct apporach just go up and make small talk with him.

ur goona have to make the first move, on this one. cause he either is trying to make fun of you, or is really shy about confronting girls. and then you shall find the answer ur looking for.
