my boyfriend sings really good and he's never heard me before and I'm okay but I will have to sing in front of him for an audition. How do I get over it?

You sound like me.
I still sing, but at times never did it seriously because I was afarid of singing in fromt of people because of there ways or behavior, and even comments. Some times I just try not to think about that, just go in there and just SING! Thats all it is too it. Do not think about that, just use your god given ability to sing and sound good and just go for it. No time for nerves.

To answer your first question...
I'm terribly afraid to sing, because my voice alters like every day so i never know if it'll be good at the moment or all cracky (people tell me I have a relatively good voice..)
to your second Q..
I would suggest to take a deep breath & have confidence. I wish I could take my own advice however haha.

If he is your boyfriend then you got off easy. Most people have to audition in front of people that they have never met. If he cares about you than you know that he won't make fun of you so you have nothing to worry about.

Practice! A lot! When you practice, imagine the situation. Can you get your boyfriend to hear you before the audition? That would help, I think.

Nope, I started performing very young, so I never get stagefright...
but what you need to do is stare at one point in the room the whole time during the audition. Make sure that it's not anyone's eyes.

They are currently accepting applicants for an online singing contest and giving away free promotion. The online contest requires you to be able to record yourself on your computer at submit your recording to the website. I'm afraid to sing in front of ppl but i'm awsome, but ya no, if he signs on front of u that means hes comfortable with u. are u comfortable with him?? if u arnt maybe u arnt in a good relationship...

I'm not afraid of the performance, just the consequences. With luck, it's just polite smiles or groans. Fortunately, so far there's been no calling of EMS or police, but with my voice, it's just a matter of time.
