He told me that one of my Christmas gifts had to be set. How many gifts can be set? I can only think that it's an engagement ring.

Set? That's...a vague term.. He could mean a watch, he could mean making reservations for a cruise or trip, or almost any other thing you could apply that term to.

If he hadn't made that comment would you think he would propose this year? Do you have anything else to lead you to this conclusion?

Maybe it's a jello that has to be set, or a wig, or a camera. Not many guys talk about having a ring set. That would mean he has bought a diamond and is having it made up into a ring. Is he the kind of guy that would do that? Usually you go along together and choose the ring. Maybe you'll find out tomorrow!!!

It could be any kind of jewelry. Or a watch for that matter. Don't get your hopes up. That way, if it is a proposal, you'll be happy. And if it's not, you won't be disappointed with his gift.

are you sure he didnt say "sent" like from a catalog? good luck if a ring is what you want but dont let your Holiday be ruined if no ring!
