haha. ya i live in mexico (LA) and when i visited other states and saw that not only mexicans are painters, landscapers, maids, construction men. I quickly took back what i thought about them doing the jobs we wont do.
Let me tell you something else. For example, they will work a job as a landscaper for a few months. They will then quit the job and take with them a list of clients. Then they will contact all the clients underbidding their previous employers. This goes to show how sneaky these people are. This is what they did to New Orleans. They flocked over there after Katrina and offered to work lower pay. Shutting out the poor Katrina victims of decent paying jobs. We cant live lilke sardines like these people do so its completely unfair that we have to compete with them for jobs.

Well Bill I agree with you. Just heard the other day n the local news that Hilton Head, SC ,which is a very exclusive resort/island, is looking to hire Spanish/English translators for the local government because they have so many Mexicans working there. I don't know if they are illegal or not. Even groceries in our Savannah markets are in English and Spanish. Why did the government not have English and any other foreign languages incorporated into our every day life to make it easier for all the other Legal Aliens who came to this country over the years???
Perhaps your wife, Hilary, would say that.."It takes a country (US) to raise a child (Mexican)!!!!!!!!!!!

I pass right though a "Mexican neighborhood" every day to get home. I have NEVER seen a Mexican flag attached to anything (some have flag stickers on their cars) and have NEVER seen anything painted red, green and white. There is an Italian restaurant on the corner that flies an Italian flag below the American flag, where do you live that you see such things? I live in Phoenix where there are a lot of Mexicans and don't see the things you do. I still think you just like to stir the pot.

We have a large latin community here in New Haven ... though it's not all Mexican - there are also people from Cuba, Puerta Rico, etc.
There are some illegals - and they do menial labor, as a rule. Many of these jobs were taken by whites and blacks 20 years ago. But as the illegal community grew, employers started lowering wages...many paying right at or even lower than minimum wage. Legal immigrants and American citizens would, of course, complain and bring charges. Illegals have no choice but to work for the offered paltry sums...and the employers hire them for that reason.
I have not noticed a proliferation of red, green and white paint on anything. Nor have they ever told me they were going to save America.
Mostly they just work hard and support their families as well as they can and keep to themselves.

It depends on where you live. If you live in some place like Los angeles, you will see that the people who do actually "hard job" are mostly mexicans, but if you go a place like New Hampshire you won't see any

That's their La Raza/MEChA brainwashing speaking.
Those people in Stillmore, GA who were hired after illegals were arrested are doing the jobs those illegals left.
http://www.ajc.com/metro/content/printedition/2006/11/26/metstillmore1126a.html There are Americans being hired in Greeley, CO at the Swift company where illegals were arrested.
http://wcco.com/local/local_story_353221353.html Americans always have and always will do any job any greasy Mexican or any OTHER person will do whether legal or illegal. Don't believe their BS.

Only illegals say that so Americans will think we need a reason for them to be here, but we all know the cost of illegals in the terms of government expenditures for education, crimminal justice, and emergency medical care are far more significant than what they give back to our economy.
