My life has been turned upside-down by a series of weird headaches. They weren't ordinary-I could feel their come-ons, shudder when I knew they were going to hit. First, I'd have uncomfortable pain on one side of my head (usually left), then it would flip to the other side of my head. Next, my mind would go into fear-panic mode, and my thoughts felt uncontrollable and everything went into this fast, racing sensation. Then, the hurt blew up on me, so bad that I thought I was having near-death experience. This occurred at least 5 to 8 times, sometimes one day after another, other times once a week. They had terrifying tremors that hurt so so badly...

3 months later, I have noticeable memory distortion, some false memories occurring, feel awkward time warps (like I'm living in the past), have trouble remembering people (at times), and my emotions are uncomfortably re-arranged. I also feel disconnected from people, and my identity feels out-of-sorts.

PLEASE help me...any ideas? ^_^

It sounds like you need to see a neurologist. There are different kinds of migraines one of which is called a "cluster migraine". It sounds like this may be what you are experiencing. But only a doctor can diagnose and treat it. You need to have a Head CT with and without contrast or an MRI of the brain. In the meantime, try to limit your caffeine intake and keep a journal of what you eat, when you go to sleep, when the headaches occur and what you were doing at the time. It will help your doctor to rule out "triggers" that may be present.

I know this is a boring answer... but if they have been going on for this long, and you have not seen a Dr or Neurologist.... You need to go. A daily headache for that long is not "normal" no matter how weak or strong it is.... One question though... do you take Tylenol every day for this? If so, that will surely cause a rebound headache... Try not taking anything for at least a week and see if they subside. If not....Go to the DR

I would definately say consult your doctor and see what's going on. It could be something serious. I don't know about most migranes, but these sound a little bit like mine can be. The kind of pain in one side of the head, then the other and then panic sounds a little bit like the kind of aura I get, only with mine my vision gets blurry and that's why I panic. Then I figure out what's going on, take some advil and wait for it to hit. It usually doesn't hurt THAT bad, but a considerable migrane kind of bad. I would really get that checked out. Possibly even go to the ER right now. It sounds bad. Good luck.

You may just have started with simple headaches but the stress of an unknown illness could have made you psychotic. I think it has more to do with psychology than with physiology. See a mental health professional. You might just need talk therapy to find out what is the source of your paranoia which probably is related to an event that occured right before the headaches. Good luck!

You could be having migraine headaches. They can come unexpected upon someone and nearly destroy them.
You also could have soemthing else such as pressure on your brain or a parasite. you need immediate help from a doctor and request a full exam, not soem half assed we'll try this act doctors are so good as when their waiting rooms are full of easy patients.

You need to see a doctor and fast. Those symptoms are some of the symptoms you'd have with a stroke. You can have strokes in clusters too - not just one big one like most people think of. Please get help soon.
