I bought presents for my Shih Tsu's first birthday, but we did not have the money for doggie Christmas presents. Kids come first. Besides, my dog wants for nothing. He will still get his "cookie" on Christmas Day and has more toys than he can play with.

Yes I do since there's only the 2 of us and famly is far away. I got Harvey a new collar and some doggie snacks. I wrap them, too, and let him open them on Christmas day. Hope that helps. Merry Christmas!

My dogs always get something for Christmas, this year they have a new raggy/rope toy each and a tennis ball each, all in red and green Christmassy colours and a big bag of treats to be shared between them :)

For my dogs I buy them a big box of bones from a butcher shop. I put them in the freezer so that they stay fresh. On Christmas morning when I let them out to do their morning duties I wrap a few up and put them under the tree. When we open ours they open theirs. I also have a kitten and I put his under the tree with some open catnip so that he is interested in it other then the pretty shinny bow which is a toy in itself. I also have stocking hung for them, that's what I put their dental care things in and so on and so forth. They are my kids!!!!!

Yes, we buy our Chihuahua Christmas gifts. We get things he needs or would get anyway. This year he got a new dog coat, a box of Greenies, a new rope to chew on, and a blankie for his bed. He's already using his new coat, it got too cold for just his sweater.

Yes I do. And I buy dog 'treats' and wrap several pieces up in tissue paper...so it's easier for him to unwrap. I only started this after I watched my dog(after one Christmas), trying to wrap up one of his biscuits in paper...and then playing like he was unwrapping it! So, after that...he gets his own Christmas gifts. And what wise guy came up with the theory that animlas don't 'think.'????? You will NEVER convince me of that.....

Some people do. I do. They LOVE things that have a squeaker in them. They like to squeak it and they think they are talking to them. L>ike a stuffed porky pine with a squeaker. The dogs feel that they have a new friend to talk to. Good luck!
