The best control is using condoms or avoid sex.

My reproductive years are now behind me (thank goodness!), but during the years that I needed birth control, I must have tried everything at least once. Here's my personal summary:

Inserts + condom: worked, but was a hassle.

Spermicidal foam + condom: worked, but what a mess.

Condoms alone: worked, but were a hassle.

The Pill: worked fine. No problems, but finally got too old to take them safely.

IUD: Excellent. No problems.

Not having sex at all: worked, but only because my husband wasn't interested...at ALL!...for two years. Turned out he was seeing someone else. What a jerk. Will supply his full name and last known location to any interested person who asks.

Here's a note for you, personally: see an OB/Gyn for your prescription before you order just any old thing. There are genuine medical reasons for this, including your blood pressure, age, and so on.

Take care, dear!

If that were a Canadian company it would be in French and English by LAW. Ergo it is not a Canadian company.

Also, you should see a doctor before going on the pill to discuss the risks and side effects. And you can get the birth control pill at Planned Parenthood at cost.

Be careful about ordering birth control pills from the Internet--thats how my friend got pregnant at 19. I think doctors are soppose to prescribe them see if they're a good "match"..But, Maybe you are young and are unable to talk to your parents..

But try going to a local Planned Parenthood if you can. They do not tell your Parents.

nd remember that you should always use condoms--as many young people now have sexually transmitted diseases and do not know it.

If you are absolutely sure you need to order these pills--then I'm sure the Ortho is probably good enough.
Kudos for trying to be rsponsible.

I would not order pills onlline that is not safe! You should really see a doctor if possible. I am on Ortho Noveum. I love it and have had no side effects. If you can't see a doctor I would really stick to condoms and inserts. Good luck

Im not taking birth control pills but i do have a IUD its tiny "T" shaped plastic thing that prevents pregnancy for up to five years. Its great you dont have to worry about taking the pill everyday, and if you want to have kids befor the five years is up just go to your doctor and take it out.You should consider it go here for more info.

Are you sure you want pills??? An Iud is very easy, no hassle, and it last from 5-10 years depending on the kind you get, and when you decide to have a baby, they'll take it out and you can get pregnant immediatly.. with out having to wait for it to get out of your system.....

I prefer ortho tricyclen out of the whole list, I've never had a problem with it while taking it for the past 5 years.

I don't like birth controls pills only because if you forget them for ONE DAY they are completely ineffective. Myself, I prefer the NuvaRing. You slip it in the day after your period stops, and keep it there for 3 weeks, skip a week (the week of you period) and then follow the same pattern again.

Your partner will not feel it and it will not fall out if placed in correctly.
