Buddhism predated christianity, and hinduism absorbed some of its ideas. That said, buddhism is a philosophy rather than a religion. Hinduism has gods, so does christianity, but buddhism doesn't.

You have to understand that none of the mystics of old started a religion; people institutionalized it, thus making it move further away from its intended purpose, its primitive point. Buddha never came to start a religion; he simply came to the people of his day and tried to provide them with the necessary principles and catalyst that would serve them to get back on point, to save them from their own repeated ignorance. Yeshua did the same thing by giving others TheWay, which was completely spiritual and mystical, but to bring an end to the mindset of the Pharisees, that is literalism, taking the ordinances and projected them outward instead of inward to know thy self. So since the whole torah is pure allegory he taught a few things plainly and tried to refocus the attention back to the point, which is to know ones self so you can know God. Buddha although he was in a different area had his own mission to save the Hindu’s from their quagmire, but at the same time would have its effect on many people so they could know what to do to become awakened and overcome suffering, emphasis on gaining mastery of the mind. Yeshua taught the way to harmonize the lower and higher self and become anointed in mind and know thy self, so you can know God.

There should be no surprise what happened after they died. Anything that becomes institutionalized in this world is doomed for failure and in time will invoke its opposite, bringing the gravity back upon the people and trapping them to limitations which will consume them. The path started by Buddha was not of this world, now it is completely of this world tied into the philosophy of foolishness, just like Yeshua's Way that became Christianity/Catholicism/etc etc etc.

Buddhism isn't God-Centered, not that it doesn't have a "God" per se. The God in buddhism would be what constitutes us. Regardless, Christainity isn't the only system with Yeshua as their invoker, read on Gnosticism.

Buddha did not so much start something new as reform an old system that had fallen into stagnation - very few understood the Vedas in their highest form (Vedanta). He also highlighted the need for direct experience in his thought, rather than the often seen overindulgence in ritual seen in the traditins he was addressing.

man, what is your problem with Hindus and Buddhists?
I have not seen them on here trying to step on anyone?!
I do not believe the way they do so I would just discount any of their arguments(if they presented them)
Are YOUR beliefs in line with what GOD Almighty(as in JEHOVAH) would have you do????
