OHhh gosh, looky looky at all the ignorant Christians
blissfully unaware that the Catholic Church compiled the letters of the New Testament, Decided on putting the Jewish Torah in as Old Testament, unaware the church was taking formation in 300 AD.

Actually, the Catholic Church did not compile the Bible. The Hebrew Scriptures, or Old Testament, was already compiled by the time of Christ and the New Testament was canonized in the 4th century, well before the existence of the Roman Catholic Church.

Actually, there are four ecclesial communities which exist today which are directly descended in unbroken Apostolic succession from the unidivided Church which gave us the canon of scripture: the Roman Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Oriental Orthodox Churches (so-called "monophysites"), and the Assyrian Church of the East (so-called "Nestorians"). So we could thank them all.

the Catholic church gave us many great gospels songs. But they never gave us the Bible. There were two different sources used for each. Thats the reason today, that they have a different Bible than the Bible or various translation used by many Christian's of today.

The Catholics have translated the bible into what is convenient to believe, then raise children to fear questioning what they've been told to believe. They are not responsible for compiling the bible in any way. It's a hugely profitable business. sort of like the tobacco companies getting kids hooked on cigarettes so they continue adding to the profit for the rest of their lives.

No. I won't thank tha catholic church for anything. They translated the bible to suit their own purpose. Also, it is a personal rule of mine never to trust a religion that ends with "LIC(k)"
