It appears to be wind control, but im not sure. we saw them streatching out over 3 states, nevada, utah, and wyoming,

They are built as sound barriers, for the people living on the other side too close to the road

I think its to do with wind cos we have them round the M25 too

They are to control snow drifting. Not too good at it, in my experience...........
