Long hair makes a girl look like she is confident. Short hair sometimes makes other people feel sympathetic because they think there is some thing wrong with her like cancer. Although it sometimes depends on the shape of the girls head.

If you look good in long hair then by all means keep it. Guys like long hair on girls. Plus the older you get the shorter your hair usually gets so enjoy it while you can.

Defintely depends on the color of hair, its texture, the style, cut, and the length of the hair. However, I think that either long or short hair looks great on girls, as long as the look is flattering on the person.
