I have been researching different dog breeds, mostly just for fun. I just moved out of my parents house and into an appartment a few months ago. I don't want to get a dog until i get a house, which will be a year or more down the road, so i want to make sure i get the right dog when i get it. I have been researching the dog a little, and will do so more. I understand that they are protective of their family, which is what i want. But i don't want a dog that will be so aggresive that i can't have visiters. I was just wondering if anyone on here has ever owned a aplapapha blue blood bulldog, or if they know anyone who has, and what they are like from personal experience, rather than just what i can read.

Thank you for your feedback. When i read about them, all the websites talk about how they are protective yet loving. Now i know they are too much for me to handle.

I have known TWO and that was TWO too many. Both were the kind of dogs that the owners put in another room when guests came over. One ended up killing the dog next door and was euthanized.
I am sure they are great pets for some people....probably people who know the breed and how to handle it, but I would never have one. Doesn't seem like a "starter" breed!!!

I love them. But then I like dogs that tend to rip people's faces off if I tell them to.
Why don't you get a nice weiner dog instead?
