If you're planning on being a model or a film actor, it's definitely worth it.
Otherwise, eat lots of fresh apples, use a pre-brush rinse and a whitening toothpaste, and use Crest Whitestrips or another over-the-counter product if the other things don't work.
If your teeth still aren't whitened to your satisfaction after all that, then you can consider having them professionally bleached.

If you are a young person and you have not experienced years of drinking coffee, tea and cola you can get good results with crest white stripes. Otherwise a dentist could give you better results in the office. It is worth it especially if white teeth are important to your life or career.

Getting your tooth whitening via a dentist will actual be greater effective than Crest, however at your age, i could think of white strips could help lots. It gets harder to whiten your tooth as you get older. tooth whitening is enormously costly although - i could bypass with a working laptop or computing device if I have been you and attempt another whitening products.

I do Zoom2 Bleaching in our office.. It's an instant difference. My patients love it. So i'd suggest doing in office bleaching, if you want your teeth whitened fast, and not having to wait.
Crest White Strips, is a good product, i will admit. And yes, its cheaper than in office bleaching, BUT... its not fast. It's a timely process, that takes time and consistancy. You have to do it everyday, and still by doing this.... it will take time before seeing a visible change.
So i guess the question is.... how much time do you have? Do you want white teeth now... or later.

No. Use a tooth paste with a whitner. I suggest you not either go to dentist for that or get a special whitener. When teeth are too while, it looks stupid.

some dentists actually use the crest white strips. they are really good. i recommend just buying them instead of paying the dentist a small fortune.
