My six year old has a splinter not too deep in her finger. I want to leave it and it let it come out, but her mother will have a fit if we bring her home with a splinter in her finger. Any good tips?

Soak it in warm water for 15 min, then take tweezers and gently pull it out. She should be fine :)

You need to try to get it out with tweezers, if that doesnt work, try putting tape on it for abour 15 minutes then pull it off. You do not want to leave it in there as it may get infected. Even worse if the baby has never got a tetnus then the chances of getting an infection increases greatly. Hope this helps! :p

Actually since the splinter is not deep, tape should do the job. Just be sure to pull in the opposite direction it entered. Like scoth tape, or masking tape.

Good Luck

First soak it in warm/hot water...then use tweezers. If you don't soak it, it will not be as soft. Good luck.
