christmas was originally to celebrate the winter solstice, the shortest hours of daylight in a year and the point at which daylight hours will start to increase. Does this mean that christians actually worship a sun god?

Christians don't know WHAT they worship. There are 13,000 varieties of the religion in the U.S.. Their holy book has been revised 22,000 times, per the Vatican's report. They make stuff up as they go. For example, they hate each other and everyone else for not celebrating Christmas the "one and only correct" way, which, as you know, originated in paganism and which, as a celebration, isn't rooted in any historical or spiritual insight. Remember, these are the same people who use to burn each other at the stake for not knowing the "correct" number of angels that could dance on the head of a pin. Here's a great Wikipedia entry about how Christmas celebrations evolved, related to pagan origins and changing political and consumerism agendas:

Christ and Muhammad must be sad at seeing Their believers criticizing each other on such trivial things. Is it not Their sublime teachings are the worshipping of the One True God and the love of one humanity. If the followers cannot learn and practice the lesson of love from the Messengers of God, where else can other people learn this lesson. Please reread the Bible and the Quran and act according to the sacred verses in those Holy Books:

13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
(King James Bible, John)

96. On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow Love.
(The Qur'an (Yusuf Ali tr), Surah 19)

There is (no but) about it . Islam is a cult that worships the pagan moon god. The same pagan moon god that Muhammad sacrificed a lamb too, before he had the visions of (Lucifer AKA Jabrial) Your Quran proves this fact. In fact Muhammad reminds the Muslims to not forget the 3 daughters of Allah.

WAT DE HECK. get your info straight before u ask stupid questions. The moon was produced by Muslim people way after Mohammed (pbuh). It has nothing to do with our religion, but some people just chose it as a symbol. The crucifix is also not worshipped. It is a symbol for Jesus' sacrifice according to Christians. I'm not exactly sure what the star of David is but I'm also sure that Jews don't worship it.

NOT at all.

Just because a day, month, or holiday is named after a demon/god it does not mean that the entity is being worshiped.

In the case of the moon god jazz - Archaeologists have found MANY statues and artifacts that show the SAME allah being worshiped today is the SAME entity as THAT MOON god.

I often wonder what the OFFICIAL cover story is for the use of a MOON on the top of all Mosques and on almost all islamist flags!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a look at >>http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/moongod.

Good point,
Bad facts.
We rejoice that Jesus was born to save us from our sins. He lived 33 sinless years, and then was crucified for it to take away our sins
