Las Vegas has one thing and one thing only... a stip of street dedicated to Gambling and Adult entertainment.
That is all.
It is basically a hole in the desert.
It is much less expensive than New York to visit, but unless you like Gambling, and are 21 years or older, you will find nothing entertaining at all.

New York has anything and everything.
If you can't find something you are looking for, whatever it is, somewhere in New York has it.
The diversity and history of New York speaks for itself.
While it would be more expensive to vacation in New York, it is by far and wide the better of the two.
New York is the epicenter of many things like Arts and Literature and Fashion, not to mention it has many places of interest to explore.

Cleaner, smarter, less risky and better. No desert and whorehouses (public). No comparison at all.Any city that advertises itself as a "secret keeper" is disgusting in my opinion.
