its possible. if he goes to court and petitions for visitation or even custody they could grant it. start gathering proof of his actions and behavior to take to court if that happens.

It doesn't really matter if he signs it or not. If he can prove he is the father then they will allow him some rights based on the court's decision. I would leave it blank, since I doubt the guy will ever really want to see his kid, but if he does, you might could trick him into believing he can't by telling him his name is not on there. But, if it's really important to him then he'll go to court for it. The best you can hope for is to prove he is unfit and get sole custody.

If he doesn't pay any attention to the baby then no. If he takes you to court then your screwed. Don't talk to him or do anything to make him angry. I'm 27 weeks and going through the same aloholic crap. Fortunatly he's not paying attention and the baby will have my last name and as long as he keeps looking the other way I'm leaveing this town. Good Luck!

he doesn't have to sign. its what you tell the nurses what to put down for the father. if i were you i would tell them either a fake name or tell them father unknown. it will make you look like a sl-- but at least then the real father hopefully will leave you alone.
by the way, if you do put down anything but the real fathers name and later decide to get child support, your going to have a hard time getting it.

THEN I WOULDN'T PUT IS NAME ON IT. BUT YOU CAN ALSO GET CHILD SERVICES SO HE WOULD HAVE TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT TO HELP YOU. BUT SINCE HE WASN'T THERE FOR YOU THROUGH ALL YOUR PREGNANCY i DOUBT THAT HE WOULD HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH HER. AND THAT IS A SHAME. BUT YOU CAN GIVE YOUR CHILD ALL THE LOVE THAT THE CHILD NEEDS. GOOD LUCK.
