Pups have very short attention spans. Training should be done for only ten to fifteen minutes at a time. Always end on a good note and three or four tiimes a day is good. Good Luck and Merry Christmas.

2 - 3 times a day for about 20 minutes each time. At that age, they have a very short attention span. Be calm and assertive with the pup (not aggressive) and it will learn. You can use treats or praise when he does what you ask him to do. I use praise. Before you start the training, take him for a long walk - 20 - 30 mins. (all the excess energy that they all have will be lessened) and will make him easier to work with.

Good luck they are adorable dogs.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aMQvp

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

You should generally train him about once or twice a day, in short intervals of about 15 minutes or less. Training is mentally exhausting for a dog, so do not exceed 15 minutes. Also, try not to work on too many tricks at a time, and be as patient with him as you can.Good Luck!

Train several times per day but keep the sessions short as your puppy is young.
I would try for three maybe four short sessions per day.
Make each different and be dure to have fun.

Your entire relationship is a training period with you responsible for the outcome. Years down the road, your pet will mirror who and what you are.
And, in particular with a S.H.

My inlaws believe in puppy school and it has paid off for them each time. It may be a little costly but worth it if its that important to you and your dog.
