LoL do u have any idea how many religions there are out there? There are thousands!!!! Everyone would be studying each religion until they died from old age. People should be given the choice to find the one that they feel the most passionate about and choose that one.

studying all religions would take forever, or atleast most of your life.......
I am not religious, my soul is of a spiritual nature. If your religion/spiritual preference, helps to get you through this life allowing you to treat others with respect and love along the way, it could be a good thing at any age.

I don't think it should be a law, but I do think it would be a good idea for every person to survey at least a few different religions, or consider none of the above.
I think it's sad that parents try to indoctrinate their children at such a young age. These parents mean well, of course, so it is hard to fault them.

I think that's a great idea
more people would actually "know" vs believe blindly and respect other's views
often the wars come from fears of the unkown or just not willing to talk and exchange experiences, which unlike beliefs can't be argued

No one should ever join a religion that does not allow you to grow and change. O.K. If you're allowed to grow and change, why would you be afraid to "belong" for awhile to the group of your choice?

NOPE! Our life span is too short to study even a small percentage.
There is "The age of reason" before one can join the Church on The Southside - the one I attend.

No it shouldn't be necessary. It is recommended to study religions before chosing as before you know what you are, you have to know what you're not.
