You can see what the results have been. The Bible says: "Man has dominated man to his injury".
The time is running out on this trial period though and soon God will step in and "Bring to ruin those ruining the Earth" God will not allow men to continue the way they are. Also, People may be doing those things in the name of their various religions, but, in the Bible it says,
Matthew 7:21-23 (New International Version)
21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

I dunno what religion ur referring to but in islam god forbids you from killing innocent lives..You can only fight in the name of religion if your religion is being attacked and you are defending it...That is the concept of JIHAD..People these days i.e terrorists use their religion as a platform to voice out their demands and gain support which is stupid..!

We bat this around on here everyday. Each person has free will. That includes you and me and the person across the street from you and the mass murderer, everyone. God will not step in and stop one from exercising their free will. We are not puppets. It would sure be easier for all of us if we were.

Like everyone says ,because he gave us free will. If we did not have free will we would just be a bunch of mindless drones. Would you want your spouse to love you because of who you are and had their own personality or have a spouse who is just programmed to love you and do what you tell them to do?
