It was his sister, man, it's in " The Book of Jubilees" in plain black and white, it's one of the reasons Jubilees wasn't included in the canon.

Well, the bible never actually says that cain wandered off alone in the first place. And bible teachers state that although Cain and Able were the first sons, it doesn't mean that at the time, they were the only sons. And if there were sons, there were daughters. And since Adam and Eve lived to be hundreds and hundreds of years old, Cain could have chosen any aged daughter of Adam to be his wife. Imagine if you lived to be 900 years old and you were told to populate the Earth. Do you really expect ALL of your children to live in your house or as your next door neighbors? More than likely, Cain was already married, and came to "know his wife" meaning physically, having sex with her, that produced their child that the bible speaks of. It's kind of complicated, but you have to look deeper into the passages to make sense of all that is said. I hope this helps. Merry Christmas.

It is to tell you that Adam and Eve were not the first humans on earth. They were just the first recorded descendants of the Jewish people whom God chose to start a civilization of monotheistic God. People before them pray to many Gods and Nature such as the Sun, Moon, Stars, Elements and even animals. That is why Cain was so afraid to get out of Eden that he thought anyone who finds him wandering may kill him. Do not believe the incestous logic of the teachers in your religion if you belong to any. Read again the Book of Genesis 2 and find in there the sixth day that male and female were created after the animals, plants and trees. Then read the accounts of Adam and and Eve, and see that rivers were among the first. no plants and trees and he made first Adam then he made a garden where he put the Adam, then the animals. and when Adam was still not happy with his animal friends, God took from his ribs a piece of bone and made it into a woman. Read Jeremiah 31:27 because he knew the people of Israel,Judah and the offspring of man and animals.

The contradictions in the Bible are truly spectacular in number. Though it can never be known for sure, it can be speculated that God continued creating humanbeings after Adam and Eve. As far as I know, Genesis never specifies whether Adam and Eve where the first and ONLY humans or not. It seems likely that it was believed they were not the only ones; that their significance is rooted from the fact that they were alledgely the first, not the only. The reason being the church's obvious outlook on incestuous relations which would have to have occured if it was only Adam and Eve.
This is why I'm an atheist.

According to the recently unearthed Dead Sea Scrolls, Cain had met his wife to be years before. In fact they had gone to high school together. Cain always had a thing for her but she was seeing someone else. So, Cain was quite pleasantly surprised to find her out in the desert a few years later. Finding out she was single, he wasted no time and proposed.

Yeah, well, there was a lot of incest back then, you see. I mean, there were lots of sister/brother/cousin/uncle/aunt things and my guess is she was a product of some of these copulations. She probably just wandered off and Cain found her.
Really important parts of the history of that time is kind of left out and as to how it happened, you just have to let your mind wander and fill in the blank spots the best way you can.
Or not believe any of that story.

I can't believe you people with these stupid questions can be so encapable of fiquring things out for yourself. The bible nowhere claims to give exhaustive truth, only essential truth to reveal the plan of God in redeeming mankind from the fall. The Bible never mentions that anyone had gas either are you so stupid to infer then that no one ever burped in biblical times? God gave you a brain why don't you try putting it to use for something other than a blank tatoo screen? It doesn't tell us the names of Adam and Eves daughters but by this do you assume that they had no daughters? No wonder this countries gone down hill, don't they teach you guys the skills of critical anaysis in school anymore?

if u read the bible carefully then you'l notice that "humanity began to spread" once adam and eve were expelled from Eden. Thus Caine left his family to return with a wife from another area where humans had already spread.....
i think some people read the bible without thinking about it - just cuz adam and eve were the first doesnt mean they were the ONLY....

guys cmon, this question has been asked a jillion times. Ok i am going to assume you havent seen the other questions on this subject. Cain's wife was his sister. We're not told how many children Adam and Eve had altogether, but they certainly had plenty of time to raise a very large family.
Adam and Eve were created perfect in every way. Their children would also, no doubt, be born physically and genetically perfect. Therefore, Cain's wife could be one of his sisters with no problems. Likewise, many of Adam and Eve's children would have inter-married with no problems. "None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness. " (Leviticus 18:6).
God does not condone near-relative marriages. Had God's command to Israel been given to Adam and Eve, and they and their children all obeyed it, mankind would have quickly died out. God, therefore, had to temporarily allow intra-family marriages to increase his earthly family.By the time of the flood severe genetic weaknesses had likely set in, making close-kin marriages impractical, so after the flood God reduced the life span of mankind to seventy years. This would prevent another population explosion of the pre-flood magnitude. (Mathematicians have calculated a billion people may have died in the flood.)
One might wonder why genetic weaknesses set in. It's obvious Cain didn't care about God's law, else he would not have murdered his brother (Genesis 4:8; Exodus 20:13). If he disobeyed God in this matter, he likely disobeyed God in matters of diet (Leviticus 11; Deuteronomy 14), and ate whatever pleased him.
