Because we want to look good. Some people believe the more money you pay on expensive hair cuts and products, the better they'll look but thats not always the case. There are affordable things out there. Also, people buy expensive products, because they think it will be a miracle worker.

ur a guy right? most guys would probably have the same question too. along with similar questions like y r gjrls so obsessed with their weight ((when they're actually very thin)) or put alot of makeup on etc. but thats just girls they like to feel pretty., it gives them a confidence boost in almost anying. going to the mall..MEETING BOYS, and also it increases their self esteem! i've been there ;) i mean girls would probably have question about boys like y do they like getting down n dirty and actin so immature blah blah blah well we have to understand that they're just guys n thats just how they are *i hope my answer helped u!*

We do this cause we need our hair to look great and great hair products (the ones that actually work) costs a lot of money.

thats just like asking "why do u spend so much money on THAT style in clothes". its our way of expressing ourselves. styling our hair in different ways and making our hair look good not only gives us girls confidence but its a way to shows wut style we're going for. i spent 150$ on a quality straightener this week bcuz hair is something thats soo easy to style and it gives me a clean cut look! :P
