But "Allah" does not mean God. "ilah" in arabic is God. And since i am speaking english, why can't I use the word God when I'm talking about Allah (which is the same thing)?

Probably just the part of the world you live in...if we were in Israel, people may assume you're Jewish, and so on in other parts of the world.

Because Christianity is more known in the English speaking areas. In the Middle East, most people use the word Allah, which gives the feeling of Islam. In other parts of the world, the Creator is called by many other words in their own languages. Without true knowledge about religion, only this matter of divine name, had caused much of bloodshed. It is like the case of four ancient princes raised war against each other when they returned to the father King from four corners of the world after several years of brave adventures.

So there is a difference.

Just as God is English, Dios is Spanish, Allah is Arabic, they all refer to the supreme being, so please if you are ignorant of this fact understand it now.

I have the same issue. Evidently, if you acknowledge a creator and a supreme consciousness, you are automatically assumed to be a Christian. Go figure, I just laugh and enjoy the show. It is so very, very short. Ha ha!!

GOD spelt backwards spells DOG, why would you use that to call a creator and someone you worships, i bet a non believer made that word.

Because the Christians assume everyone is, unless they are preaching.

And non believers from societies dominated by Christianity are so used to the majority being Christian...

NO IDEA!

Many call upon their god at the slightest reason.
There are many gods to call upon.

I expect, if you are living in a Christian Country, it would be expected that you are calling upon THE TRUE GOD.
If in a muslim Country - then, the moon god.

People base their assumptions on their personal experience. That goes for all aspects of their lives as well. It is easier that way than to try and be enlightened and ask questions to become fully educated.

Well, I might assume you're one of the church people. Christians I don't know any. If you define the term "Chrstian" as anybody who says they are, that is too broad.
The religion of church people is nothing like the religion that Jesus had. I know tons of church people, but I don't know any Christians.
