Does anyone know the laws on moving out at 17? in Texas

You would not be able to sign a lease or get utilities in your name because you can't legally sign a contract until you are 18 (unless you go through a formal emancipation process). This applies to all contracts, not just real estate/rental.

At 17 you are still considerd a minor by the Texas Family Code, and your parents are still responsible for you, but the thing thats carzy about TX is that at 17 you are considered an adult and if arrested you will be arrested and charged as an adult. But at 17 an dunder of course, your a minor Hpoe it helps..

try asking a legal call in show in your state. they maybe able to give you some answers.

call or email a representative in your state government to see if they can give you the answer.
