step one. make sure your virus protection is up-to-date
step two. scan your computer for viruses
step three.(if no viruses appear-move to step four) if a virus is present then follow the proper procedures to deal with it (move to step four)
step four put another virus protection program on your machine and run it..chances are it will detect a virus that the first one didnt (do not uninstall the first program..just use the second in addition to the first)
