I am supposed to be making a short film. It must look professional but I don't have a very big budget. What video camera would you recommend, and where could I get one?

Im guessing your not planning to spend anything above $500, so I think you might be able to get one of the lower end panasonic 3ccd cams for that price. I think the pv-gs250 might be available for that price, or for around $700 a pv-gs300. On ebay, you might be able to find a used pv-gs400 for $700, which is probably the best cam for the price youll get. I'm a filmmaker as well, and I always like getting to know other filmmakers so feel free to contact me at evilgenius4930@yahoo.com. Hope this helps!
