If you're using a dial up connection then I'm afriad you're out of luck. However, if you're using broadband dsl connection, you're in luck. Dsl will allow you to use the computer and talk on the phone at the same time. The telephone line serves a dual purpose in allowing you to conenct to the internet and use the phone all from the same phone line. The signal for the telephone and the signal for the dsl comes in on the exact same line but the two signals are split which allows for simultaneous use.
