In the 2007 World Almanac, It says that it takes 17 trees to make 1 ton of paper.

I hope this helps ;)

I saw on The Discovery Channel a program on recycling. In this program they mentioned a number, 6 tons of wood pulp to make 1 ton of paper. With recycled paper materals added, it took 3 tons of wood pulp to make 1 ton of paper. They used this to illustrate the benefit of recycliing because it takes much less energy and water to process 3 tons instead of 6 tons and I just happened to remember it. I also wondered how many trees went into making 6 tons of wood pulp, but that question was never answered.

Technically about .0000001. yet because you may't decrease down a lot less that one tree, that's almost like dividing with the help of 0--undefined. So, a decision should be made as to climate the piece of paper in question is necessary badly sufficient to justify scaling down yet another tree. or perchance that's basically sitting a warehouse someplace, and no timber favor to fall for the reason. And get a pastime. you've totally too a lot time on your hands.

One pine tree produces 413000 sheets of paper, from its pulp, not from adding recycled material.

Uh...actually...paper makers...grow their own trees to make paper now...none of the tree we see around us are used for paper any more.

And...to make A sheet of people...you'd need like...a baby tree...seriously...you can make more than one piece of paper out of a tree...
