Where did you get the idea that Christians are more concerned with Gays than with child molesters? I am concerned with the lostness of others and immoral behavior is a part of the moral depravity of man regardless of the specifics. I think you are seeing what you want to see because you think you have this need to criticize Christianity for some reason. If Christianity is such a thorn in your butt why do you feel the need to be so intolerant of them or to express anything at all towards them? And by the way you are wrong about whether or not Jesus said anything about homosexuality. John 1 says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made..........And the Word became flesh and dwelt amoung us.
The Bible is the written word of God and it most definitely has alot to say about the prohibition against homosexuality. The Bible is the written mind of God, as it says...the Word of God is the expression of Christ to man. Try reading the whole bible instead of picking out what you want to support your stupidity.

There are numerous Bible passages condemning homosexuality (where do you think the word sodomy came from?) In God's eyes, a person that tells a white lie is as much a sinner as a person practicing homosexuality or a murderer or a child-molester.. He places NO degree/levels on sins. But the Blood of Christ has offered you and everyone a chance for salvation through accepting Him and repentance.
Jesus is coming soon., but the question remains, is He coming for you?
two of the same kind makes nothing.

That's ridiculous! I guess the reason you hear more about the gays and not the child molesters is the molesters know what they are doing is wrong and don't say it just an alternative life style. It is not my intention to hurt anyone. God loves us all and does not show partiality.
God loves my gay bros and sisters. "All sin and fall short of the glory of God" Bible says we are to be married to have sex. And it was meant man and women from the beginning. "God wants All to come to repentance"
Christians take the entire bible as God's inspired word. Jesus also didn't tell us about Moses and we believe what the bible says about him-or creation, or Abraham. I'm not to judge anyone, I'm not qualified. God is.

Child molesters (for the most part) aren't trying to get government endorsement though. Child molesters don't have a large campaign saying they aren't doing something sinful and they don't have several tv shows glorifying child molestation. That is the difference.

That homosexuality is a sin is in the Bible, and it doesn't have to be mentioned in specific parts, by specific people, or a specific number of times to be true; the -whole- Bible was written by God.
I am certainly concerned about child molesters. What they do is an atrocity, and I pray that God heals its victims and stops this horrific crime.

I generally agree with the underlying hypocrisy you suggest with the question. It would seem American Evangelical Christians (which is a quite unique bunch) does seem to pick and choose its preferred "sins" as particularly heinous or not for no apparently consistent reasons. In general "AEC" tends to prefer persecuting sins of personal morality (sexuality, smoking, drinking, gambling, etc...) over social "sins" (allowing countries to starve, for example)....which seems to contrary to the work of Jesus and his concerns.
Yet, to be fair, you are not making an equal comparison. Homosexuality is a united, legal, political and social force designed to give fair treatments and rights to its peoples....and many AEC;s disagree with this agenda. Child molestors are not a united, legal and political force trying to force their agenda on a culture. Many AEC's are far more disgusted by child molestors though do not have to organize a strategy to "defeat" them because they are already socially defeated, as it were.

Jesus said that this lifestyle make him spew from his mouth....in other words....it makes him sick.....Gay rights is a big issue that's starting to be push into our schools these days....that's why is seems to be more of a concern....especially to parents who think its not the schools responsibility to teach.....as far as molesters....just wait...its going to get tougher on them in a few more years....

Because there isn't a concerted effort to force Christians to accept child-molesting as "normal", "natural", "just another variation of human sexuality", "a civil rights issue", etc.

The reason Christians SEEM to be more concerned is because everybody is against child molesters so Christians don't stand out from the crowd in that area. Just because Jesus never mentioned homosexuality doesn't mean that He approved of it. Here's what Jesus DID have to say about sexuality.
Matthew 19:3 And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, "Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any cause?" (4) He answered, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, (5) and said, 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh'? (6) So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate."
Jesus goes right back to the book of Genesis to describe God's plan for sex between two people. Then He goes on to say in verse 11 & 12....
(7) They said to him, "Why then did Moses command one to give a certificate of divorce and to send her away?" (8) He said to them, "Because of your hardness of heart Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. (9) And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery."
(10) The disciples said to him, "If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry." (11) But he said to them, "Not everyone can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given. (12) For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one who is able to receive this receive it."
Jesus talks about people who are self made "eunuchs". In other words people who forego having sex for the sake of the kingdom of Heaven. He doesn't specify the reason why they do this but having a desire to have sex that the Bible says will exclude you from that Kingdom certainly seems like a good reason to me.
1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, (10) nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
