No. Although some researchers believe it is linked to herpes viruses, there really isn't a certain known cause. Bell's Palsy is a paralysis of the face usually affecting just one side. Bells Palsy is a neurological disorder that effects the individual. It mimics a stroke and takes an MRI to differentiate. It is non-contagious and impossable to transmit.

I don't think you have Lyme Disease. It's carried by ticks and is usually received from a tick bite. Also, the symptoms usually consist of bad joint pains. So I believe you have something else. Regardless, I hope you do find out what you have and can get better. Good luck, man.

If it is due to exposure to cold It is not transmitted. If it is due to Herpes Zoster, it is infective. Other causes are suppurative otitis media, ,head injury, Guillain -Barre syndrome, sarcoidosis and multiple sclerosis.
