I really dont think that any christian with a true relationship with God would ever become an athiest. There is no way to prove that there is no God because there is a God.

I have read one of the most popular books written by the atheist Bertrand Russell...WHY I AM NOT A CHRISTIAN. (I concluded that he was really saying why he was not a Roman Catholic!) The book did NOTHING to sway me away from my faith in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord!

I have also read Corliss Lamont's book, THE PHILOSOPHY OF HUMANISM. It also did not make me budge an inch!

What book do you have in mind that will make me become an atheist? Could it possibly be THE GOD DELUSION by Richard Dawkins...or possibly THE BLIND WATCHMAKER?

I am not saying that I will not ever become an atheist; I have even heard of Robert M. Price (author of the book THE REASON DRIVEN LIFE) who used to be an ardent evangelist for a prominent Christian campus ministry who later became an atheist. It can and does happen. However, I have been a Christian since 1980 and I see NOTHING on the horizon that will make me change my core religious beliefs.

Nothing and I mean nothing would convince me that there is no God, because I know He exists. The Bible proves it and there are so many things around today that proves it. The proof is in front of your eyes every single day and you are just denying it.

You know what? Ever since I've been on Yahoo!Answers and have seen and read so many Atheists and Agnostics and Pagans and other people bashing Christians, it has just made me pray even harder for you. The more you bash the harder I pray, because everybody deserves to be prayed for and cared for. I don't hate any nonbeliever. I just pray for them. Even if you don't want me to.

God is not a God of hate and I do not want to propitiate that falseness.

If i send you a book on scientific proof that there is a God, would you even read it?....
there are many Scientific facts that uphold the idea of God,

you are an idiot for making a judgment not know the science upon which you so firmly base you belief:

Matter can neither be created nor distroied,

Conservation of angular momentum,

life will not come from non life
Read up before you make a fool of yourself.

No matter what your book would say, I would never become an atheist- I know there is a God who loves me and sent His Son to die for me. I will answer this question with a question- if I send you the Bible, what would it take for you to become a believer?

Now this is hilarious! You actually made me chuckle.

As for an answer, I would definitely be open to reading it. The fact of the matter is, when I chose my faith, I did my research. When I chose to become a Christian, I didn't just take what someone else told me as truth. So probably your book, if you have one, wouldn't change my mind. However, like I said, I would be open to reading it. Any suggestions?

I've read Thomas Paine's Age of Reason (although not an Atheistic book) and I'm sure that book is far more persuasive than anything you have. I'd read it, but I'm sure nothing in it would be surprising.

They can't do it. It would be like betraying an old friend. Yes, it is an imaginary friend, but to them it's a real one, and they cannot do it.
So what is the book? Why didn't you include the title of the book in your question? Maybe the book is similar to God in one respect: it doesn't exist. Ha! I knew it! No such book.

You would have to go back in time and change every single smidgen of proof that God exists and turn it all into proof that there is no God. Seeing as that is impossible because God's love prevails, nothing will make me change my beliefs. I'd gladly read your book though.

you would have to convince me 100 percent that God in fact does not exist. even though I believe it is something that cannot rationally be proved or unproved, it would have to be along those lines. i believe you need to have about the same amount of faith in evolution as one would need the same amount of faith to believe in God. since life has no purpose without God, as far as i am aware of, it doesn't make sense to convert to something that isn't logically more real in my mind.
