Even per the bible, does it even make sense?

No. If Hell and God do exist (positions I do not hold to be true), God would have no point in creating Hell. God could use his omnipotence to forgive everybody and let them enter Heaven.

Let me use an analogy:
I have a girlfriend. I love her.
God has "children". He loves them.
My girlfriend does things that upset me sometimes.
People do things that upset God oftentimes.
I forgive my girlfriend for everything she's done.
God holds on to 6,000 year-old grudges, like "Original Sin".

If I, a mortal human, can forgive a fellow human, why can't God?

Many Christians don't think in an eternal hell. they believe in hell till the tip of the international, at which era devil, the demons, and persons in hell would be forged into the "lake of hearth" the place they are going to go through a '2nd loss of existence' and afterwards be if truth be told nonexistent. while the folk in heaven will rule with God on a clean earth. basically like they do no longer believe in an eternal hell, they do no longer believe in an eternal heaven. They view it as a waiting place till the hot earth. (this is possibly the place specific offshoots of Christianity have been given their concepts of turning into gods of their very own worlds while they die) this is extra in keeping with the classic Jewish ideals approximately Sheol (no longer the final bit approximately being their very own gods, yet something). The eventual divide of Sheol into Gehenna and Abraham's Bosom are the place Christianity gets this is concepts of Heaven and Hell kind. the whole ingredient is beside the point however, because of the fact human beings can believe despite they want despite the fact that it would not make it actual. All you ought to do is look on the origins of the theory to verify why this is incorrect.

The Vedas say that Hell is a place where people go to get their really bad Karma (reaction to their sinful activities) No one goes their for eternity. Only for as long as thire bad karma permits. The Bible most people have is the misconstrued version by King Constantine and his scribes. The original New Testament was kept hidden when the original Christians went into hiding because they where being killed by the Government and others. The original teachings of Christ are available now in English with historical Documentation called the Gospel of the Nazirenes go to gospelofthenazirenes. for comple details if you are sincerely seeking truth. Christ originally taught that hell was a place to go only for a duration of time. He also taught Reincarnation and Karma. Even on earth their is hellish conditions. We just have to look around and be sinsere to see it. go to krishnaculture. for Vedic teachings of hell and heaven and earth.

If hell is understood correctly, it makes sense. But the old idea of everyone going to hell doesn’t make sense. If you carry only good in your heart, the curse (lie) on man is destroyed and heaven is recognized. If the sinner continues in his love of sin with a hardened heart, then the cycle of living, getting sick, then dying will go on forever, and death will not be overcome. Hell is real to the sinners consciousness, but to infinite God, there is no hell within His being.

I get the philosiphy of Christianity and can make sense of it, I simply disagree.

I can see how there could be a Hell and a God that would send people there, I simply cannot atribute traits so charisticly human as 'Jealousy' to a divine being.

It makes sense to me, I just don't buy it.

Per the Bible, it makes sense, but per the false teachings of the so called Christians, it does not make sense.

The Bible teaches that God give us a free choice, whether to be blessed and live with Him and all who follow His rules in happiness throughout eternity, or disobey Him and be returned to our origin, that is dust and extinct.

1 "Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and that day that is coming will set them on fire," says the LORD Almighty. "Not a root or a branch will be left to them. 2 But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall. 3 Then you will trample down the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things," says the LORD Almighty. Malachi 4:1-3.

The Bible does not say God is going to roast unbelievers or sinners throughout eternity. They will be burned up, consumated, returned to ashes, but not suffering forever and ever.

If all the unbelievers who refused to obey Him were allowed to live together with those who are willing to obey Him, it will spoil the happiness of the the righteous, while it would not be heaven to the disobedience. A person who is blasphemous, drunkards and foul-mouthed and evil minded, would feel very miserable to me in one room with lovers of God and His commandments, who do not drink alcohol and sing or speak only about heaven and good things.

So in His justice and mercy He will allow them to choose their own destiny: "Eternal Life" or Eternal Death, just as before they were born, they were nothing and know nothing!

Sure. One place is for those who seek righteousness and atonement, the other place is for those who seek self-righteousness and keep their sinful nature. One place is full of God's presence, the other place is void of it. Both places are eternal, meaning you wont see any time pass because there will be no reference to time, and in each place your bodies will be immortal so you wont feel any kind of pain. However in hell there is still to be sorrow and regret because you will recognize what you turned down (heaven).

When you tear down all the misconceptions about hell, it seems really logical.

No. Most everything in the bible doesn't make sense.

It doesn't make sense to me. If Jesus didn't say it existed, we would only have vague scriptural references. I can not understand the mind of God but I know I have more in common with an animal than I do with the mind of God.

Not even a little, neither does the christian concept of a heavenly reward.

According to christians, a mass murderer on death row can repent and go to heaven.

However, an atheist who has committed his life to good works, cannot; he is doomed to hell.

Is that REALLY a good model for a peaceful society? I don't think so.
