I think we are seeing our own evolution now and I think that it is playing out with seeming illnesses that are plaguing our children. I think that this evolution includes a bit of our own envrionmental poisons that actually causes illness and causes extra psychic ability, some how. I think we are moving into an age where folks are connecting in more important ways then ever before. I guess what I am saying is that the next stage of human evolution is happening and it will consist of us - our own children and their children. We will see what they can do and reap the rewards for a higher society - if you can see my meaning. I mean Autism alone affects 1 in every 166 kids. That sounds much less like an illness and more a change in humanity, if you ask me. I think these Children of the New Earth include Autism, Aspergers, ADD, ADHD - they are all of a piece, here to change the world.

They will evolve in the sense of changing themselves to suit their environments. With higher UV penetration of the earth, there will likely be a higher rate of mutation in general. Because of that insects seem a likely choice because of there short reproductive cycle.
